Purpose with Passion

God created you with a purpose in mind. He created me with a purpose. What a joy to even think about that—when I born, He may have thought, "Hmm…I want this sweet child (my words) to have this purpose."  He gives each of us gifting and talents, and we go through life, determining what those are and how best to use them.

When the Father in Heaven created humanity, He created us 'in His image.'  We are meant to REFLECT the Father.  Our purpose is to have a relationship with Him and live out our days, giving Him glory.  Reflecting 'who He is' to the world around us.

In the first six days of our universe, the Father created. He designed us to create also—create with a purpose.

As this blog progresses (and we create), we want to share with you our purpose:

  • Share WHO the Father is and His heart towards us.

  • Use real-life present-day stories to illustrate His heart.

  • Impart an understanding of His forgiveness; how He enables us to forgive; reconciliation, healing, and redemption.

  • Tell stories and lessons from our own lives of parenting and how that brought us closer to God.

  • Teaching on the Father heart and Mother heart of God.

  • Provide a venue where others can share their stories of God’s Father heart to them.

Our primary purpose is, and always will be, directing people towards the Father. Those of you who know us, have heard of my husband's story with his father.  We will be sharing his story as we go along.

A few years back, we attended a Leadership Development Course in YWAM. One of the tasks we ended with was to develop our 'passion statement.' The wording can change as you go through life and learn more about yourself, but here are ours:

  • To influence, communicate, and teach others in understanding the character and ways of God the Father so they can walk victoriously in His purposes for their lives.

  • To inspire and challenge others to encounter God personally in their lives.

We hope you will join us as we passionately live out our purpose and tell stories of Father heart of God.  One way you can keep abreast is to subscribe to this blog at the bottom of the home page. That way, when we begin to tell Jim’s story, you’ll be able to follow along consecutively.

Who knows what our world will look like in a year from now or even six months?? Let's all live out our passion and purpose in a crazy, frantic, unprecedented time and bring people closer to Jesus and the Father as we march further into 2020.
